About a month has passed since my “Hello World” post. I lifted weights this morning for the first time in about three weeks. Bicipital tendinitis had sidelined me, so I was relegated to running on the treadmill.
have been learning how to podcast for my Planet Numeracy™ website. It’s really just another way to share my ideas about education and interact with students and parents. I designed this cover artwork when I got back from the gym. It still needs some tweaking, but this is a good start.
Next, I hit my classroom today. Abbey saw Mr. Mike at Ted’s, and he said my room was back together. I got my computer set back up and connected my overhead projector. Check and Check.
When I attempted to print my Algebra 2 notes for this coming school year, I discovered I still had low ink levels. Tech office says cartridges are on their way within 48 hours. No big deal. I just like to hit the ground running, so I’ll go back next Monday.
Meanwhile, it’s our wedding anniversary this week. I can’t believe 9 years has gone by. The kids were 5, 7, 9, and 11 when that girl Carol entered that guy Mark’s life. They are now 16, 18, 20, and 23. It’s been an amazing journey, and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to raise these smart and beautiful children.
Lastly, I was able to finish mowing moments before the heavens opened. It is now sunny out again!
P.S. The beach was great!
